Me and you are 'just friends'.
You know that,
I know that.
Only I know something more.
I know that I love you,
I have for so long.
You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
You’re my secret love,
my special friend.
Every day that goes by,
it seems like I discover something new about you to love.
It’s incredible to me how one person,
can make such a big difference in my life.
You have touched my life in a way no one else ever has.
You have given me so many reasons to smile.
You complain because you can’t seem to find the “right guy”,
the one who will love you, won't cheat on you or fill you with lies.
I guess this friendship has made you blind,
impending you from noticing the one that has stood by your side.
I have to admit,
I long to be more than just your friend.
but at the same time I'm afraid that these feelings might cause our relationship to end.
I don't mind being 'just friends'
because at least that way me and you can be together...
