just maybe...

i'm not a princess
who is perfect.

infatuated with his depth, desire, and darkness...
just maybe, i have let myself go.

maybe if i kiss him,
he will no longer be a toad.
maybe if i let down my hair,
he will climb up.
maybe if i am danger,
he will battle dragons for me.

maybe, you call it pathetic.
maybe, i only listen to my heart.

and maybe, just maybe if my heart lies,
then maybe...i will be able to say
it was worth the pain.

but then again, maybe not.


maybe, i was never meant to be saved.
maybe, i was never meant to be perfect.

maybe, just maybe...

i was meant to live a life full of maybes.
