Just One Day
Can I take a break from living?
Can I die for just one day?
Just to ease the burden
And take my pain away
To have one day of nothing
Just a tranquil state of mind
To free myself from worry
And leave my fears behind
One day is all I'm asking
It's not that much to ask
And then I shall return again
To endure this earthly task
