Just So You Know Poem by victoria dupree

Just So You Know

I should have never fallen so deeply for you.
I should have never even met you.
I should have never given you my heart.
I should have never let you love me.
It’s my fault that I’m hurting.
It’s not yours.
You just played with me and threw me away.
Just like the others did.
I know you didn’t mean it.
But I need you to know.
You hurt me.
I cried for you.
And this is how you repay me.
You break my heart even more than it already is.
I thought you truly loved me.
I thought you wanted to be with me.
But I guess you don’t.
I guess I’m just another play thing for you.
And I guess you don’t need me anymore.
Nobody does.
You were the only reason I lived.
You keep me from making a mistake.
Now I just don’t now what to do.
This is to much for me to handle alone.
