Just You Poem by Bancroft Boreland

Just You

Rating: 4.5

I would sleep forever
If I could dream only of you
I am held captive by your love
But I wish I’ll never be free
I’ll do anything, be anyone
Or give anything if you told me to
I was a sad and lonely man before
But then you entered my life
Now that man is no more
I hear you
In every song that plays
I see you
As the sunshine in my days
I feel you
In so many different and wonderful ways

It matters not what others say, think or do
As long as I’m always with you
I’m unsure of what tomorrow will bring
So I wish it will never come
Because today is perfect
I don’t want it to change
So let today be tomorrow and forever
Different people need and want different things
Like wealth, power and immortality
But I just need you.
