Keep On Weep On Sleep On Poem by Nyx C Styx

Keep On Weep On Sleep On

Life awaken within
my heart is paper thin
all I acquire with age
is love displaced with rage
I look left I look right
no stars in a dark enough night
so let thunder crash and roar
let misery out these eyes out pour
leave your promises unspoken
no heart left to be broken
no eyes that look beyond
no God to these prayers respond
how much farther shall I roam
to find a place to call home
upon this Earth, I seek the things that burn
before to it as dust, I shall return

Keep on Keep on
and sing a merry tune
weep on weep on
from misery to the moon
Sleep on Sleep on
It'll be over soon
