Key Poem by Whisper Dawn

I sit alone with this key
Everything is blocked from me
Close my eyes then to see
All alone… it screams around me
When did things get this way
When did I let it all sway
My mind says this
My heart says that
Times like this I can’t look back
To look up and face the lies
Takes more strength then meets the eye
I let you in, you turned me out
Shook my heart all about
To scream and let the world know
Is more then I can ever let show
You shoved me here and grabbed me there
Now here I stand with my soul bare…..
Tell me this and tell the truth
Was I ever a love for you
I sit here all alone
With my key for this room….
Locked and sealed is what I am
No longer can I really move
This sadly.... is what love can do……
