Killing Time In The School Library Poem by Justin Phillips

Killing Time In The School Library

We didn't talk,
we didn't smile,
we only sat there for a while,
but you saw me
and I saw you
and a little bit of camaraderie grew.
I didn't ask
your name that day
and soon you went along your way.
I later saw you
in the hall-
you didn't notice me at all.
