it lingered for a while,
sticking to the memory

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was walking through town and a man walked towards me, the thought went through my mind that he resembled Jesus, he must have read my mind, as we passed each other we both smiled deeply and carried on. That moment touched me and I have never forgotten it.
