Knife Attack Poem by Bethaney Walters

Knife Attack

Rating: 5.0

Don’t bother stabbing me in the back
Its too numb to feel you knife attack
Stab me square in the front
It doesn’t matter if your knife is blunt

It will still pierce my scarred skin
Your knife may make me bleed
But I'm truly hurting within

As you stab me at least look into my eyes
So you can see my pain but you won't hear my cries
Once your knife has left my chest
I smile because your attack won't lay me to rest.

You look down at your bloodied knife
Only to wish you had taken my life
You look up to meet my glazed eyes
And the life left in me is what you despise

So don’t bother stabbing me in the back
Its to numb to feel you knife attack
Stab me centre in the heart
So myself hatred can stop and love can start.

This poem is absolutely beautiful and epitomises a strong woman who has been through it all and can face anything thats thrown at them. So no need to 'stab her in her back' because you wont be affected, your too strong to be taken down. I love the imagery once again. Beautiful poem! XxX Keep it up! Look forward to reading some more!
