Known Reality Unknown Poem by Viju Vasanth

Known Reality Unknown

Yesterday he spoke to me as usual casual chats,
Today they say he is no more
Couldn't accept,
For the last 16 years we come almost together to the office
with a smile he greets, opens the locks
with a smile that opens hearts
By the end of the day he lock the doors,
There ends his daily routine.
But now they say everything ends suddenly yesterday night.
The master Eraser rubbed one known.
Daily someone is disappearing
Known or unknown they disappear and becomes unknown.
We all know this truth but live a life of lie.
I will also be deleted one day,
Oh the Eraser, erase me on one stroke
Don't let me lie for somebody's kindness
By disturbing their peace, counting for my rest.
