Koi na jaan saka woh kahaan se ayaa tha - Poem by Bashir Badr

Koi na jaan saka woh kahaan se ayaa tha
Aur usne dhoop se baadal ko kyon milaaya tha

Yeh baat logon ko shaayad pasand aayi nahi
Makaan chhota tha lekin bahut saj aaya tha

Woh ab wahan hain jahan raaste nahi jaate
Main jiske saath yahaan pichhle saal aaya tha

Suna hai uspe chahakne lage parinde bhi
Wo eik pauda jo hamne kabhi lagaaya tha

Chiragh doob gaye Kapkapaaye honton par
Kisi ka haath hamaare labon tak aaya tha

Badan ko chhod key jaana hai aasman ki taraf
Samandaron ne hamein ye sabaq padaaya tha

Tamaam umr mera dam isi dhuen mein ghuta
Wo ek chiraagh tha maine use bujhaaya tha
