Kudos And At-A-Boys Poem by Robert R. Railey

Kudos And At-A-Boys

Kudos and At-a-Boys

Nowadays, when our supervisors in the workplace feel that an incentive is needed to make us work harder, the old pat on the back is often replaced with cold hard cash
But might we not ask whatever happened to our personal pride? For didn't our forefathers always do the job willingly, and didn't they also volunteer for both of those great world-wars; then too, didn't they also take care of their own personal business just because it was expected of them
So when all the smoke clears, the members of The Great Generation will look back and say that they were simply doing what they should have been doing all along; and that they did so because it was the right thing to do
