Labyrinth Poem by Farah Taskin

Labyrinth

Imagination tries to see the world beautifully
but the reality is different
Countless people are crushed by the earthly grinder
The planet is blue because of the suffering of the people
Helpless, weak and exhausted still the father wants to take care of his children
There are many people who don't have a roof over their heads
There is no food for them to eat
The rich enjoy, while the poor suffer
Those are the rules
Humans have no sympathy for humans
Humans have no empathy for animals and birds
The poweful are busy with war and killing
Killing people with deadly weapons is their job
The lights go out
The blue Earth lies face down in the darkness
