Lamb's For Dinner Poem by Strydar Enox

Lamb's For Dinner

I ponder I wonder in this weird state of mind why in fact what I rap sounds as sick as cyanide. The poison of choices when the murderers voice is whispering in your ears of Immoral contortions. It's all about the lies which the news supplies. Filling the world with celebrity vines.
I ponder I wonder in this weird state
Of sin why the darkest of individuals where the brightest grins. It's like a glock pin pull the trigger and it's fin. Destroying society and all those within.
You want to know my opinion of this localized depression? It's due to the recession of emotional compassion. The American dream is not all that it seems. Selfish individuality is all that it gleams.
Born in a world valuing money over life time to hustle my days and work all my nights. Who's to say what I do is right? I do what I can and try as I might, this world becomes stagnant and we're scum on the pond metaphors aside were doomed to fall.
I ponder I wonder in this weird state of life why each and everyone of us put up with the strife. We work and work and pretend to be free the visions so fake it's hard to believe. We don't value a thinking mind. Only those that can work without asking why. Sheep we are being led to a slaughter. I'm not complaining, lambs for dinner why bother?
