Landscape Dreamland Poem by Alexander Foald

Landscape Dreamland

A man stares at the sky
Where the night gives a glimpse of view
To someplace that reminds him
All about this girl

“So much left behind
So little we had, ” he said
“When I thought it was easy to recover
I never thought I was out of her”

Laying on the ground
Staring at those pictures as they’re gone
Waiting for the dawn breaks into his dream
He wished for another chance
