Landscape Of Healing Poem by Paul Larmour

Landscape Of Healing

Rating: 5.0

Into the glens of glad tidings
Of bursting bodies, of babies cries
Where angels welcome the gift of life
For some a long way home
For others a holiday

Into the vales of watery eyes
Of broken bones, of discarded limbs
Where angels soothe an angry heart
For some they mend
For others they pretend

Into the valley of sad faces
Of misused bodies, of cursed mankind
Where angels wipe a fevered brow
For some a reprieve
For others a sentence

Into the rifts of twisted minds
Of lost reality, of a different plain
Where angels decode a distorted signal
For some a cheering return
For others a confused farewell

Into the plains of resentful youth
Of teenage tears, of the lost playground
Where angels untwist the knife of fate
For some a scar to show off
For others a scar to hide

Into the canyons of forgotten features
Of silent lungs, of motionless hearts
Where angels weep
And all are equal
