Last Chance Poem by Katrina Williams

Last Chance

It’s been four years that we’ve been friends
Coming together then pulling away
What happens now it all depends
On how close we want to stay

We seem to be dancing in circles
Each time we start to move somewhere
We’ll feel something inside of us
And we’ll just stop and stare

Each time that I’ve seen you today
We’ve shared an awkward glance
Just tell me what you want to say
Cuz now is your last chance

The words that you say now
Will always echo in my heart
My memory of you
Will forever be the way we part
