Last Night Poem by Nicholas Wayde Turner 24

Last Night

My thoughts were racing around and around.
I just knew that it was going to happen.
I just knew that I was going to do it.
But the thing I expected never happened.
Now I’m relived.
All those worries turned out to be a grain of sand.
That mountain I saw was just an illusion of my fears building up.
Those fears couldn’t be any bigger than I thought.
They grow smaller and smaller as each day passes.
