Last night I had a sweet dream
As standing, I was on a high hill
With the innocent wild pigeons
Flying restlessly and excited,
Over me
Landing at my feet by the hill
Pigeons were all out of breath
Could they ever settle they wish
As hearing the howl of a gun
Feeling threat
Tonight I couldn't sleep though,
Rain drops at the window tapped
Called me out of bed, by the frame
To see the moon by the clouds
Being wrapped
Guns had stopped howling…
I wondered?
Last night I had a charming vision
All the stars, so shining and bright
With the directions they showed
Through the darkness of the land
To the light
And tonight I could so well sleep
No raining or tapping to interrupt
As I floated in my faraway dreams
I felt the borders of earth and heaven
Clearly cut
Will I ever be seeing soldiers…
I wondered?
