Laugh And Grow Fat Poem by Bernard Onoja

Laugh And Grow Fat

Hopelessness all around the world
Cheats having a filled day
Caring less about a better life

Humor merchants make merry, impregnating intermittently with laughter
Cracking ribs and making hay in the rain
Medicine for the most sorrowful heart

Never a dull moment digesting jokes
Forget about who killed your mother
She will never come back to life

Who will clothe the naked tree
Injustice reigns supreme
Police and government have failed
