Laughtale Poem by Clarisse Austria

Laughtale

Teardrops from the sky,
The rhythm of raindrops, a melancholy lullaby.
I feel the gravity on this space
In the waiting shed, I find my solace place.

Episodes of people gush for shelter near,
I watch them blankly here
I stand, uncertain, but eager to move ahead,
Through the blurry vision, I stride where I'm led.

Unbothered as raindrops drench my skin
For it is better than to wait uncertain
I withdraw from the shed that held be back
In the vacuum, I am no longer stock

Even forecast no longer know when the rain will subside,
Yet, I choose to journey with the tide.
In the ocean now, far from the shore,
Waves push me back and forth

The water reveals its vast expanse,
But sky above shows stars in a cosmic dance.
No longer in the tunnel, I see the slightest light,
With strong waves, my spirit takes flight.

In this vast ocean, land awaits,
A journey to the laughtale, beyond the gates.
