Laughter In The Darkroom Poem by Gee Cii Schnider

Laughter In The Darkroom

Damn it! Damn it! Damn it all!
Another moment's breath brings
Me closer to tears
I can't cry or scream
or die
Until I'm unseen by judges
Eyes
Why was it so fine
To go so horrible
So soon
The blood and chemical smell
Only makes matters worse.
And here I was so happy
and heard of photographs beauty
Beauty
But then I broke so quickily
Damn it! Damn it! Damn it all!
My heart keeps racing,
My breath keeps coming
Bringing me ever closer
To the tears
From their hidden Laughter
In the Damn Darkened Room! ....
