Laws Of Love - Poem by Michael Saurer

Darkness ‘round my heart
Shadows of the past
Stretching me apart
Black scars, will they last?

I still remember
She’s still not gone
I still remember
What she has done

You’ll never forget
Never win this bet
You’ll forever know
Forever feel snow
Those are the rules of love
This is the curse of love

Coldness makes me freeze
Memories undead
Feeding my unease
Curses long unread

I’m still restless
She’s still around
I’m still restless
‘cause of her sound

You’ll never forget
Never close your head
You’ll forever feel
Forever know her seal
Those are the laws of love
This is the pain of love

Don’t try to forget
Never regret
Don’t try to forgive
But start to live
Ease the grief of love
Loose the bounds of love
