Leaving - Poem by Tatiana Guerrier

If you can't see me for who I am
Or appreciate what you have in front of you
Then I might as well walk away
Because i'm tired of trying
There is no use anymore
You will never see the real me
Not like he did
He values my personality and mistakes
He saw me as far more then being an imperfect person
Idk why it's so hard for you to do that
Guess its because not everyone is the same
Like someone told me:
'you can't make someone love you'
I think it's best if I walk away from this
Before it's even too late

People tried letting me know
Some thought we were perfect for each other
But reality is...
It just didn't work out and that's okay
There are more fishes in the sea
When the time is right I'll find the one
