i see you sitting on a rail by the alley
dark, and humid, and strange is this place
where you live where i shall leave you
because you cannot follow me where i am going
silence speaks so aloud
on that parting with lots of promises that
soon i will be back to save you
when i shall decide
to stay with you
oh! this lonely wretchedness
this helplessness
amidst the chaos

i see you sitting there
and everything i see is blank.
