We were tight
Then you left
You said we'd always be friends
Then you went away
You said you'd come back someday
So I gave you my heart
You took it with such care
Said 'I'll always love you'

But that was long ago
Now we're not tight
The distance broke the bond
Now we have different friends
Time changed us
It's been so long
And you still haven't come back
You broke my heart
Just for some girl
You don't love me anymore
Now I'm just a story you can tell
