Lesser Of Two Evils Poem by Wayne McCullough

Lesser Of Two Evils

I hear your dull buzzing, your insistence that I need you.
I hear your plead for escape, I hear your logic.
I hear nothing, for that is what you are.
be what you are, and leave me to my own devices.

You will never be as you wish, I will not allow it.
Crawl back to the hole you came from, descend.
If I see your face I will place my heel upon it.
I will watch you grovel as your breath kicks up dust.

All you touch turns to ash.
You must not be allowed freedom.
I am stronger than you.
I will defy you.

This is where I rule.
Here I am your God.
Look upon me from your belly.
See me from your proper place.
