Let Darkness Fade

You’re in the dark and live a lie
Struggling to endure
Seeking answers to how and why
And death’s eternal cure

Faith’s barriers are everywhere
Life hopes are waxing thin
You ask, yet no one seems to care
While you’re a slave to sin

You’ve heard the devil’s out to kill
That Jesus rose on high
Doctors advise you take a pill
But still you fear to die!

You’ve found medicine clouds the mind
Religion points to blame
Now staggering lost and walking blind
You live your life of shame

Yet faithful is The Ancient One
The Truth on Heaven’s throne
The living God’s eternal Son
Who rolls away death’s stone

Jesus is life and Heaven’s way
Incarnate Bread & Wine
Our constant hope our faithful stay
Our holy God divine

We need The Truth to see first hand
We need our faith to flow
Till heart and soul can understand
Salvation’s awesome flow

Its Christ we need and sweet remorse
Atonement for our soul
God’s holy will our only course
And Heaven our only goal
