Let Fire The Smoldering Soul Poem by Nemo Outis

Let Fire The Smoldering Soul

There was a brave soul once
undaunted of the scaffolds
singing songs of the truth

Muzzled, strangled, gagged
the King quenched the soul

Oh! Brave souls, truth of all
smoldered amid of the anguish

Today, I consent God, to
let fire the smoldering soul,
within me,
with mere sparks of truth
to the flames of eternity
that are formidable and unquenchable.
