I was waiting for the zing we share,
But then he told me to let her go,
For the love we share is not so clear,
My heart froze because I can't let you go,

And the old man said to let her go,
You only know your lover when you let her go,
And then you are going to let her know,
That its her love that you've always hold,

What will happen when I let you go,
Will you tell me all that I never know,
Are you going to just sit and let me go,
Or will you let this eternal love Grow,

So now I think I will just let you go,
For you to know how I've watched you grow,
And maybe someday you will come to know,
That our love was only meant to grow.
