Let Me Be Patient Poem by Alexander Foald

Let Me Be Patient

Inside this chest of mine
Hides the glowing heart of a man
Waiting in silence, moments of violence
Until someone comes and cures the pain

Over years, over centuries, over ages
Wandering around the corner of the mind
Looking for a place to stay, nowhere to aid
Every night spent in some kind of lonesome

Is there someone to accompany?
Is there anyone to knock upon my door?

So much have been seen, so far have been walked
So many things happened around, yet nothing unchanged
So god, if there is someone you send me to love,
Please give me wisdom to let myself be patient
