Whatever God would have us do
Whilst journeying above
Let righteousness our hearts pursue
Paving the way in love
When love has been our driving force
Walking the extra mile
The Lord will richly lives endorse
Rewarding with a smile
The frowns of Christ our souls can feel
Each pain our Saviour bears
His tender heart’s forever real
As is the love He shares
That love that brought Him to the tree
That heals the blind and lame
That love flowing in you and me
Covering sin and shame
So when we walk love’s chosen path
Even through death’s dark vale
Our fruits will save from endless wrath
And free from hell’s dark jail
Let love go forth and take the rear
Let love be in and out
Let love cast out our every fear
And rid our foolish doubt
True love’s a gift through Jesus Christ
Life’s force we each receive
Through which God’s Lamb was sacrificed
That we today believe
The smallest child may understand
Though love may not be blind
Yet when its spread through every land
God’s endless love we’ll find
