Let’s Irrigate

With joy, we need to love and care
See life, through patient eyes
The pain of sacrifice to bear
And like a serpent, wise!

What blessings God to us can bring?
When open like a book
We’d call on Christ, as Lord and King
To come inside and look

He’d see the truth behind the smile
He’d see the inward parts
We’d bid His Flame to stay a while
And purge our sinful hearts

Thus to receive His saving grace
Let’s seek God’s true delight
Let’s speak to Jesus face to face
Let’s reach towards His Light

Let’s bask within Salvation’s glow
Let’s drink The Father’s love
Let’s feel The Living Water’s flow
Coming through Christ above

Let’s take The Truth and call it mine
Let’s dwell upon the taste
Allow the flow like precious wine
Revive our barren waste

Until the bride has drank her fill
Until she’s Jesus’ queen
Till all have heard The Father’s will
Let’s turn the desert green

Let’s change to soil, the shifting sand
Create a living field
Let’s irrigate, infertile land
And reap a fruitful yield…
