Let Us Go Then Poem by Mary Champion

Let Us Go Then

Let us go then, you and I,
to somewhere they won't question why
we live our lives the way with do-
you loving me, me loving you -
where every soul can customise
a niche to fits its shape and size,
where ‘stranger' is an unknown word,
where condemnation's never heard.
Let us go to find a place
where life is lived at human pace,
where every man receives his due,
where every love is ever true.
Let us go then, you and I
to that sweet land when none shall cry -
to paradise where none shall die.
