Let's Live Together Once Again Poem by Preena Mathew

Let's Live Together Once Again

Let's live together again
All that a child would want to see
That life is not always about battles
Who doesn't like to live free...

Free from sudden ambush...
And the fear that lives within..
That doubt that always rattles
Who doesn't like to live in peace...

Let's live together again...
Even a kid would wish to find...
Life is not just about war
Even foes could find a friendly chord

Can't we show those children..
To see the world around..
And that it can be a better one
For us all - the human kind

We are born in different worlds
But aren't we the same human kind
So..why do we judge...
When we don't really know..
Where we would be born

Can't we do without our measuring rods
And show those little ones
We can be just what we are...
Life is just the same for all...
Doesn't matter who stands tall...

Let's live together once again
Let's live together once again
