This will be the last poem
I write about you.
These tears, will be the last
that fall for you.
And this heart, will never be
wanting you anymore.
It's time to let go.

It's time to get every last
emotion out for you.
Because I'm tired of wanting you.
Do you know how it feels to know you
want someone that you'll never have?

It's time to open my heart again,
and not let your face paralyze me.
The next time this pen writes a poem,
it won't be about you!

I'm out of words, out of hope
that you will come back
into my arms again.
So this is me letting go
of my first love.
