Liar
I still can't believe you lied to me
Now I'm left alone to bleed
I'll go back to the start
And try again for you
For the only one I'll ever love is the one and only you
But now my heart's trashed and scattered
I'm torn and battered
But then again without you I am nothing
But I'm here alone, corrupting

Destiny dear, there are more fish in the sea, and a lot more that are deserving of your affections. Don't worry about the one who got away, but keep looking for the one that will give you respect and treat you like a lady. I could feel the loneliness in this piece as you were writing it, and the consolation for that is, there is someone, somewhere, waiting for you. I know you won't find him in a few minutes, or even tomorrow, or maybe you will. Life is very full of surprises. This poem is written from a sad heart that is heavy with sorrow.
