Lies Poem by Nicholas Hrynchuk

Lies

Since I was born,
Lies were whispered in my ears,
They grew my fears,
But I out grew the tears

I heard lies all around,
But the truths were never found,
I told some of my own,
But nobody knew I was alone

I heard the biggest of them,
I had hoped it was a dream,
And there was a stream,
Of lies from those i knew

I hear few lies,
A few old friends,
Made some mends,
And kept it the way it was
