Lies From The Devil Poem by Faith Poeter

Lies From The Devil

Voices in my mind
I hear them all the time
Saying im not good enough
I quickly call them on their bluff
Psalms 48: 1
I am your refuge I am your strength
An everpresent help whenever you need me
1 Peter 2: 9
'But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

You'll never be forgiven
Of the sins you have committed
John 3: 16
For God so loved the world he gave his only son
The day he died on the cross he died for everyone
Whoever shall believe in him shall not parish but have an everlasting life.
Isaiah 1: 18
'‘Come now, let us argue this out, ' says the LORD. ‘No matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can remove it. I can make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you as white as wool'"

You'll never be loved or wanted by anyone
I simply  reply.....
I am loved by the father and the son
Isaiah 43: 1
Fear not for I have redeemed you
I have called you by your name
FOR YOU ARE MINE.

Pray all you want Hes not going to hear you
No matter what you say or do
Jeremiah 29: 12
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me And I will hear you.

You've lost your spot in heaven
I smile as I write it
John 5: 24
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

That devil trying to tell me God has no use for you
God has use for all his people And you know it too
Colossians 3: 12
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.'

You might as well give up
You have nothing left to live for
2 Cor 5: 7
For we walk by faith, not by sight
We are confident,  I say,  and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with  the Lord
