Life
Life is a roller coaster ride
Highs and lows
Constantly taking us places
Familiar things
Strange faces
Its constant ebb and flow
Like tides on a stormy sea
It tells the story of you and me
That glimmer of hope
our destiny
Through tunnels of time
we go
light and dark
dark and light
just out of reach
always to fight
for freedom of the heart
Our captive souls
our secret pasts
our joys and woes
