Life
Like free birds in the sky
we were never meant to live that life
like a promise wished away by a lie
we were meant to let memories die
like a moon drifting into a blue
we were never meant to say I do
like a soft cry into the night
we were never meant to hold tight
like that first word we said 'hi'
we were always meant to say 'bye'
