By Mohammad A Yousef
Life is a game, play it,
with the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair,
the laughter of friends ringing in your ears.
Step onto the field of your dreams,
where each morning is a new level,
and every obstacle is just a puzzle waiting to be solved.
The scoreboard isn't always clear,
sometimes it's hidden behind clouds of doubt,
but remember, focus on the play,
not just the points.
Choose your team wisely;
your cheerleaders and your challengers,
those who lift you up
and those who teach you lessons,
shaping you in ways you cannot see.
Take risks,
for in every falling leaf,
there's a chance to dance,
and in every missed shot,
there's a chance to learn,
what makes the sweet victory taste so good.
Make your moves with passion—
don't hold back your heart.
Let it race with every challenge,
for every swing of the bat,
every throw of the dice,
every brush of the paint,
is a chance to show who you really are.
Feel the thrill of each moment,
with celebrations and setbacks
perfectly balanced on the teeter-totter of life.
Run freely across the grass,
let your shadows stretch,
and see how far your dreams can go.
And when the day ends,
when the lights start to dim
and the game takes a breath,
count your victories, however small,
for each one adds to the tapestry of who you are.
Remember, it's not just about winning,
it's about how you played the game,
the friends you made,
the lessons learned.
Live fiercely, with all you've got,
and never forget—
Life is a game, play it.
Play it like it's your last chance,
because it might be;
but while it lasts,
give it all, smile wide,
and above all,
have fun.
