Life Is Precious Poem by Mohammad Yousef

Life Is Precious

By Mohammad A. Yousef

Life is a fragile canvas,
painted with laughter, tears,
and moments we hold dear,
each stroke tells a story,
woven in the fabric of our days.

A gentle breeze whispers
through an open window,
carrying the warmth of yesterday,
the dreams that danced on sunbeams,
the hope that blooms like spring.

We rise with the sun,
feet hitting the ground,
the heartbeat of a brand new day,
filled with endless possibilities,
waiting to be discovered.

A child's laughter echoes,
like music that fills the air,
reminding us to cherish,
the simple, the small,
the beauty of breathing in life.

But shadows sometimes creep in,
whispers of doubt,
the darkness that tugs and pulls,
tempting us to forget,
what makes our hearts sing.

Yet, deep inside, we know,
that every breath is a gift,
every glance at a star-studded sky,
a reminder to hold tight
to the light we have found.

So let us treasure the moments,
each one a stepping stone,
build bridges with kindness,
weave connections with love,
for to destroy a life is to cast away
the colors in our shared mural.

Look around,
see the flicker of strength in another,
the silent battles fought with grace,
the smiles that bloom from struggle,
each one a testament to survival.

And if ever you feel heavy,
like the weight of the world is too much,
remember,
you are not alone in this.
Reach out, take a hand,
feel the warmth of loyal hearts.

In unity, we're stronger,
together, we rise and stand,
refusing to dim the light,
choosing to uplift each other,
for life is precious,
and it is worth the fight.

So guard it with fierce love,
nurture every hope, every dream,
let your heart echo its rhythms,
never forget:
to destroy a life
is to bury tomorrows,
and life,
in all its forms,
is a treasure forever glowing.
