Life Lessons Poem by Sam Popeil

Life Lessons

You've taught me how to really love someone.
For that,
I am forever grateful.
I intend on paying that debt by being yours.
We've had our good times and our bad,
Our ups and downs.
But all the moments we've had/will have,
I will cherish forever.

I try to stay away from you,
Sometimes when I think I'm falling too hard.
But something keeps drawing me back to you.
I would like to know what that something is someday.
But,
Who knows?

It kills me so much that we aren't together YET
I second guess myself when it comes to you
Did I say the right thing?
Did I sound stupid?
Did I write a good poem? (you get get it)

You give me something to care for,
Something to have faith in.
Something to hope for.
Something to pray for.
Something to be thankful for.
Something to wish for.
Something to dream about.
Something to think about.
Something to write about.
Something to talk about.
Something to cry for.
Something to be happy for.
Something to protect.
Something to love with all my heart and soul.

Through the good times and the bad,
I know through all of it.
We will never have bad feelings for each other.
And I know that whenever we are together,
We will always have fun.

From the moment we first started talking,
I knew that we'll be friends (and maybe even more)
And I was right out everything.
And now look how far we've come
Compared to where we began.
Its hard to believe that we've known each other for nearly a year now.

I'd do anything for you.
If I had two wishes,
I'd wish for:
Peace,
And you.

Your everything to me.
From the stars in sky
To my world.
From the sun,
To my dreams.

I can't stop loving you,
No matter what I do.
I used to think I would be loved by no one.
But you gave me hope.
Hope that everything would get better.
And I cannot thank you enough.

I hope you never forget me,
Because I know I'll never forget you.
I Love You.
