Life On The Dirt Road Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Life On The Dirt Road

I say that life on a dirt road gets me going all day.
Putting the top down and listening to the radio.
I got a song in my head, oh I am going to sing it to you.
Well I got the top down while I am driving on this dirt road.

I got your smile in a picture, those moments I will never forget.
We were driving on that dirt road while that sun was still out.
It was you and me putting the top down just doing what we love. Oh I say that life on the dirt road gets me going all day.

So there you were with that smile, just posing for another picture to be in a frame.
Oh we were driving on that dirt road, just while the sun was still out.
I can't believe we had that top down all day, so you say that the weather was beautiful all day.
