Life's Beauty Poem by Belleza Edella Marian SwanCullen

Life's Beauty

~♥ ♥ ♥ ~

I have come a long way
In search of joy and beauty
Day by day, I pray
Please let me not end in vanity

And as I lay in bed and dream
Under the lovely moonbeam
I drifted to peacefulness
Realizing my absurdness

I've been searching a long time
It almost feels like a lifetime
And after all my quest and chase
I've found it in God's grace

It was everywhere around
Waiting to be found
How have I become so blind?
To not see what God designed?

It is in the glory of the breaking dawn
In the majesty of the sun withdrawn
In the gentle caress of the breeze
In the graceful sway of trees

It is in the smile of a child
In the love of a mother mild
In the eyes of truthfulness
In someone's genuine happiness

It was, is, and will always be around
It is there in the background
All are beautiful
All are wonderful

It is only in opening our eyes
That we shall see it clearly
Open our eyes
And we will see life's beauty

God created everything beautifully
Let us not abuse it lasciviously
Appreciate everything you see
And you'll not end in vanity
