Does a stroke to the right
......influence the light
............cast from the eyes
..................of the one you paint tonight?
In contrast from bright to dark
.....does a left hand stroke
..........give a glimpse of despair
...............from past they share?
Spirals, from shade to shade
.....swirls in colors of the past
..........showing the menagerie of them today
...............learning and yearning new ways.
Skeletons of hopes, tears, and dreams
.....silhouetted in the canvas of their time
..........show observers true shrivels
...............behind their eyes.
From heart to canvas
.....nothing is lost
..........you give it all
...............reflections of your memories!
