Life Without It's Makeup

[Everyone grows up thinking life is like a fairytale,
Thinking life will have a happily ever after,
Thinking it will be filled with laughter.
As we grow up, we learn life has many obstacles,
We don’t always see pinnacles.
But we have to learn to take life as it comes,
Keep climbing back from rock bottoms.]
People throwing away food like its nothing,
Many out there would do anything,
Because their starvation is killing,
Eating what they find in our trash,
There are innocent people turning into ash,
Little kids watching their mothers being raped,
Wishing they could escape.
Young girls getting pregnant in the name of love,
Because young men forget to use their glove.
Females worshipping beauty products,
Then there are men who easily eruct.
The rich worry about their next purchase,
But there’s a family who’s homeless.
This man is jobless,
That woman’s tears are endless,
Losing a child to the war,
Not knowing what for,
They are praying to God for peace,
Wanting it all to cease
They are saying God created humanity,
I think he overestimated his ability
All the disasters around the world are blamed on Him,
Makes many wonder is he just another Baalim,
But He didn’t make racism, war and poverty which kill billions,
That was the humans’ creation,
A child is born today not knowing what he’s worth,
Maybe just another one to help us kill this earth,
Maybe he’ll give everyone mirth,
Or is he Jesus’ rebirth.
His mother is a beauty queen,
His father is a fiend.
Teens falling victim to drugs,
Wanting to be big thugs,
She’s crying about her lover’s betrayal,
Thinking why life is so cruel,
Another’s sobbing about being friendless,
Wishing she could have a love that was boundless,
He’s complaining about the education he is receiving,
But how about the kids that are working,
Just another victim to child slavery,
Where is the bystanders’ bravery?
Yea, life without its makeup looks like a shithole,
But there’s always a loophole,
Just live it to the fullest,
Make it the best,
When you are about to be gone,
Don’t look back to frown.

Brilliant - truthful portrayal of how you see the world. Some things in life are good and some are horrible. We need to be reminded how life is for others and to try to make a difference. Thanks so much for this - it's definitely a 10+++++ from me
