Life can be tough and sometimes sad,
And we ask oh why do things turn bad,
We throw up our hands, and ask why me
and the world seems a gloomy place to be
But remember they are lessons we are all in school
Some lifetime pupils will remain the fool
Or then again, we can rejoice that were here
Learn from lifes lessons, and hold them dear
There is a reason for things coming along
The more we embrace life the more we belong
It is a wonderful world full of beauty and truth
When viewed through the eyes a carefree youth
Be healthy in mind and and gentle in soul
two of the things that keep us whole
Think of others do a good deed each day
and try to enrich lives along the way
View all the world through a childs innocent eyes
Enjoy being you, dont wear a disguise
Children are pure they do not hate,
to racist desease they cannot relate
They dont know prejudice, evil or fear
simplicity and life are what they hold dear
From these small people so much we can learn
we would have what we need, no need to yearn
Lets get back to basics go back to our start
And remember we are all little children at heart
